What has that got to with the post office?

Its just the gradual decline of a service that used to be universal and was split up bits of it sold we get charged more and get less back - next thing it will be parcels only no letters meanwhile the other lot will withdraw to Crown Post Offices only. You have banks wanting it all on line - supermarkets who would prefer to deliver to you what they want you to have and railway ticket offices being closed so they can sell you the dearest tickets on line - there is a rampant pursuit for profits from money that isn't there any more people are skint and services are collapsing. Sorry maybe a rant for the capitalism thread.
