Not sure why it needs an inquiry to sort this out. It’s taken years and seemingly likely to take more years. People have died, and “justice” moves at a limping snails pacenext phase (5) of inquiry starts in April

I agree that justice limps along at a snails pace but the inquiry is necessary to establish the details as to who knew what and when. From there I would expect prosecutions will follow.
How else do we expose the truth other than an enquiry? I strongly believe it will lead to criminal charges and full and fair compensation.Not sure why it needs an inquiry to sort this out. As someone who has followed the story since 2003 I am delighted with the exposure and scrutiny the drama has brought.
Your right though news stories only have a limited shelf life before the public get bored and switch off.
It would appear they are now trying the same method of intimidation to force people to accept derisory compensation payments.
How it was allowed that the post office were decision makers in the compensation scheme is beyond me.
It would be akin to allowing Trump to decide how much compensation he should pay Stormy Daniels!

The whole thing is disgusting. The tories have been in power since 2010? and have seemingly done absolutely fuck all about this, apart from James Arbuthnot who seems to have blamed a blinder. As soon as the tv series was aired slimey sunak came out FOR THE FIRST TIME and said what was going to happen - well it seems like fuck all good is happening. Sort it out you useless cunts

Blair brought the Horizon system in despite Brown’s concern it was poor. He wanted to encourage Japanese investment here.The Post Office began in 1660 and worked fine - privatised in 2015 - ruined as a service by 2023 - wonder what caused that then?
Labour are to blame for this scandal.
