Agree, prosecutions should happen wherever possible and appropriate.

Maybe we should just put the whole lot in prison and then make them try and prove their innocence over the next 20 years.

Am no financial expert but if the discrepancies were of a shortfall in cash then surely there would be an accounting imbalance of cash in favour of the Post Office and if that was the case was this skimmed off by a third party?

Post office profits probably. If the transactions on Horizon were erroneous and the sub postmasters and post mistresses then paid money that wasn’t needed to the PO then the PO presumably took the income into their profit and loss account? If they did this knowing that Horizon was error prone that’s potentially fraudulent

Handing it back means you dont want it. Stripping it from you means you didn't deserve it.

She should be stripped of her vast pension next, then put behind bars along with the other Directors that knowingly perpetrated the biggest miscarriage of justice this century at least.

Handing it back means you dont want it. Stripping it from you means you didn't deserve it.

I think had it it back nearly always means you didn’t ‘deserve’ it, or your wouldn’t have accepted it in the first place.
