Indeed, Starmer named this morning whilst head of the CPS apparently.
It's noticeable that the Conservative upper echelons aren't going after Starmer - because it appears to be bunk.
It's not exactly news that Starmer was DPP for some of the time.
Starmer's said that he doesn't remember seeing anything but is checking. The CPS as a whole reckon they may have seen 50 total and have only identified about 27 of them so far, so how many of what are fairly small individual cases would get to the DPP's desk? Not many, if any. 50 in 4 million (that was the number of total cases through the CPS under Starmer, so mentioned yesterday).
