Doyle giving a scum fan a straight right ('74) after being booted up the shitter is burnt in me memory, he just looked like Mr.City, in fact he was the only person in a football kit left on the pitch at one point...'kin belter.

my favourite memory of mike doyle was a derby game , when he chinned macari , the ref wanted to send both players off and he refused to go , the official had to take both teams off and lock doyle in the dressing room and city came out with ten men and resumed the game , macari was also sent off for impersonating a footballer.

The most boring goalless draw I've ever seen. Mind you, the away game was brilliant!

Tommy Booth.

Loves City and always happy to be with the fans. Always good to see him at the City Gentlemans Morning having a pint with the lads.

Mike Summerbee ...

Preston born , raised in Cheltenham .... but a 'Manc' at heart !

Always gets my vote.

That video with bucktooth and redtwat shows how Summerbee loves this club. Theres been many other great suggestions but buzzer gets my vote too.

I cannot split Doyle, Oakes, Summerbee and Book for different reasons, collectively they are what makes me the staunch blue that I am! King Colin was always my most favorite player (and probably still is to be honest) but having met him a few times over the years I simply don't get his dour attitude and has tainted my opinion of him greatly which is a shame.

That is indeed a shame mate, I think he just hates the limelight to be honest and probably finds it hard to communicate on the same level as Doyle and Summerbee, who are true City Legends in their own right. Colin Bell is my all time hero and always was as a kid too, you wouldnt believe the amount of away fans who come and chat about him to me and remember how good he was, Im not ashamed to say that I have his name and number on the back of all my City shirts. Personality wise he doesnt figure, its just the presence he has and the bearing he has without the words and the banter. Hope you can revise your opinion of the great man and just accept that he is not one for being around the limelight, its nothing personal, its just his way.

Could I say David Bernstein?
He's a blue and he was responsible for our revival almost single handed in the bad times.
If not then, as Bernard Halford has already been mentioned I reckon Bernard Manning is in with a shout!
