Edited for accuracy :)
Mods, I am being systematically cyber-bullied by this poster.
I think you should change your Location, anyone slightly pissed as many posters frequently are, could easily misread it as 'Previously known as Ragman' ,which obviously is not the case?
Sorted.

How on earth can it be Paul Lake. A tragedy of a potentially great player but he's walked out of the club twice and leaves before full time every game. Bet he doesn't even go next season. I'd go Paul Power Peter Barnes Joe Corrigan and Dennis Tueart before Lake.

Alan Oakes. I have been truly truly privileged to have watched him don a Manchester city shirt many times. yes we had the famous trinity of lee bell and summerbee but with this guy they would just have been 3 individuals.

my favourite player who just got on with his job.

2nd to Alan isn't a player, its Bernard Halford.

Russ got Bernard's autograph at chappys game. Bernard was in the middle of the road, telling the fans which turnstile to use, and no body recognized him that we could see. Mind you he was dressed in a black suit that looked like he'd slept in in overnight and was carrying an asda bag. We had a good chat with him, top fella

Tony Book. Player - Captain - Manager.

Even after losing his Manager's job he stayed with the Club in a variety of positions and he often stepped forward in the short term to take on the role of "Caretaker" on the many occasions when we were between incompetent buffoons.

I was actually quite surprised when Kiddo got that particular gig for the Reading game after the sad departure of Mr Mancini.
