Mr Manchester City.

Tony Book, came to us late, but has never been far away since, and has probably done most jobs at the club in that time.

You don't know your history.
Tony Book left City to become chief scout of Huddersfield in 1997.

Its only 20 miles, "never been far away".....oh and that's not "City" history either.

If I wanted to dazzle with my quick wit and originality I would say either Wayne Bridge or Danny Mills.

However. I am about as funny as babybird that's fell from its nest.so I'm going with the poster ive quoted below. Almost a "typical city" player. Plays well for years and goes to shit during his big break for the England B team. Involved in one of Citys finest moments "Lake again, early cross" you know the rest [uote="benno74"]One surprisingly not mentioned so far - David White

Maybe theres a few others more deserving but wanted to put his name in here as was my favourite player from my teenage years, alongside having one of the best songs from the Kippax ever -
"Oh David White, Oh David White.
Is f*cking fast, is f*cking fast
Oh David White is f*cking fast
Hes f*cking fast, fast and more fast
Oh David White is f*cking fast!"[/quote]
