MUEN carrying article by Mike Keegan wit headline stating Rags shirts worn by builders at the Etihad Campus are banned by building company!
When you read the full article it states ALL football shirts are banned not just Rags but of course that headline would not carry the same impact.

So we're now being sensitive about stories relating to United?

What a non story, I wouldn't be allowed into work wearing a rival companies branding. It's been said elsewhere that they have to have there high-vis City jacket on too :)

silly decision by MCFC to ban anything if they want to wear a footie shirt let them

only ban clothing if its not right for the job or they need hi vis or protective gear

bloody hell we behave like is 1830 not 2013 and all this that on a day the MEN did a feature on why so many american cities are called manchester ( about 36) because unlike others ( liverpool ) we supported the fight against slavery

seems we forget too easily about freedom and liberation do we really really want to be north korea? this is not the MENs issue but the fault of the small minded official who took the decision

The scale of your over reaction is to be frank, hilarious. You're comparing Workplace attire rules to North Korea and the Slave Trade. Get a grip man.

The way I read it was that it wasn't MCFC that banned them, it was the contractor. And they ban them worldwide.

Just a couple of rags trying to make City look bad running to the media about a policy that they were too stupid to know about while helping build the empire that will topple their house of cards.

Silly overreaction by yourself too. Loads of construction companies don't allow football shirts on site, especially in Scotland with the old firm rivalry.
