Chip barm everytime, what the hells a chip mufffin.........

A Chip muffin my friend is what everybody should be asking for Barm what the fucks a barm

what the fuck is a chip muffin haha! if i said that at my local chippy i would feel disrespected if she didn't twat me over the head with a cricket bat! i couldn't imagine going into a chippy and saying "can i have a chip muffin please" they would think im taking the piss!

The origins of the Oven Bottom Muffin are somewhat lost in time, but they are believed to have originated in early Victorian times, in the Manchester/Lancashire area of the country.

When the local Baker had old dough left at the end of his baking day, he would flatten pieces of the dough into small rounds and flip them over during baking on the bottom of the oven, which is how they got their name.

The Baker then sold them from a tray slung around his neck. The Bakers were affectionately known as the Muffin Man. He would make his presence known by ringing a bell in the street, and people would just stop him and buy his products. People would shout to each other “Here comes the Muffin Man’’.

They are what you get chips in.

Anyone saying barm is some sort of Cockney reject who should be supporting them lot.

Or, of stupid breeding where the older family members could only get their heads round names of one syllable and therefore started saying barm because it was easy for them to remember.
