Does anyone know where to find cheap / budget hotels in Munich City Centre? I can’t seem to find any under £100 per night which is going to bump the price of the trip up a lot.

You are looking for hens teeth, during beer festival even a bed in hostel sharing a room with 5 will cost you 50 euro, nowt cheap availiabe

A hostle with 5 sharing will be ok, we’re only after somewhere to sleep anyway. Do you know any websites for them?

Why not try a suburb?

Ismaning on the S-bahn (S8), probably 35 mins from the centre and 25 mins from the airport is a good shout.

Try Hotel zur Post; Hotel zur Muhle. Maybe Euro125 I suspect but decent...

I booked a 2 star in Rosenheim - about 40 mins away on the train - for 50 euros a night. It's probably booked up now as there were only a few rooms left but there were a few other places at around 70 euros.

We've booked the Hausa hostel for 6 of us works out about £80 each for 2 nights right near the Oktoberfest and 6 miles from the stadium.

That's the one, 4 of us staying there, short trip to the Stein Centre !!!

If you wanna join in on the worlds biggest beer festivale, you should choose a hotel near Marienplatz, Theresienwiese. A bit more expensive, but good connections to the airport and the stadium.
