Arriving in Munich Monday early evening and coming back Wed lunch time. Is there a ticket you can buy that covers all trips in the three days.

Some offer unlimited travel in certain zones, but dont include the airport. The machines look abit confusing, especaily as I will no doubt be half cut when when we land!

Checked on various websites but not quite sure. Any Bayern Fans or German Blues on here who can assist.

Thanks in advance

Sussed this out 1day or 3 days. Best of luck!

Trains/Trams/Buses
Thus, if you arrive at the airport and intend to explore Munich by the public system, the best option is to buy a €10 Gesamtnetz whole-network day ticket. Or valid for 3 days in the entire area of Munich for € 29.50 Area Zone Single: Note Entire network (Gesamtnetz All €10.80 Allows travel to/from airport

If you are in a group try the partner card, covers upto 5 adults on 1 ticket.

Have a look at the city explorer, You can by them in advance, which saves hassle at the airport, mine arrived within 3 days.

So if I'm flying in on the morning of the game and flying back early the next morning I take it the Airport-City day ticket at 10.80 Euro covers all my travel requirements including travel to and from the Allianz Arena?

Yes it is valid til 6AM the next day and can be used on the whole network. The Allianz is in the inner zone anyway so you're covered. Buts as bigf42 says, if you get together with 4 others, you can get a partner ticket that covers all of you for less than 20 euro.

Not sure how late the trains run though.

Cheers mate - that's what I thought but just wanted to make sure.

I've not checked the trains back to the airport yet but I'd expect there will be some sort of reduced service during the early hours.
