Dr Allan
... In a cold wintery night of Dec 15th,1962 at a Manor in Canterbury, 5 guests were staying for the weekend invited by Dr Allan.
The guests were Jason (born in Jan) Steven ( born in March ) Emma ( born in November ) Thomas (born in Feb) and Amy (born in March)
Jason is 26. Steven and Amy both 34 are twins, Emma was 25 yesterday and Thomas was 31 a week ago. It is Amys 34th today.
At the manor, Steven and Jason shared the ground room floor number 8. Thomas also on ground floor stayed in number 16. Amy and Emma slept in the room upstairs next door to Dr Allan room 22.
They each bring a gift for Dr Allan, Steven gives him a clock, Jason a bottle of whisky, Amy a fountain pen, Emma a Black tie and Thomas brings a pack of cards for Dr. Allan
Dr Allan, a psychiatrist invited these 5 guests specifically because they all shared a common interest. Each one was a teacher, Jason was a Maths teacher, Steven Geography, Emma teached English, Thomas was a drama teacher and Amy taught music.
On the day of Dr Allan's death he gathered the guests to the living area (adjacent to Steven and Jason's room) there he asked Amy to play some music, on her Black recorder she played 'Moonlight Sonata' .. The guests were very much enjoying this. Dr Allan decides to pour himself a whisky and offers the guests the same, Jason and Thomas also join him for a glass.
After Amy had completed her set to a round of applause - Dr Allan tells the guests that dinner will be served very shortly. He goes to his room to put on his Black tie - in the dining area all guests are sat waiting for dinner - the time is 10PM ... Dr Allan's servants bring out the food a beautiful crisp Lamb Joint - Amy decides she is too tired for dinner and goes to her bedroom. Thomas is feeling very merry and at this point asks Dr Allan ''why are we here ?'' - ''Well'' Said Dr Allan 'My wife was murdered on this day 2 years ago by someone in this room and tonight I will have my vengeance'' the guests let out a gasp and with confused looks began chattering amongst themselves.
Dr Allan went outside for a cigar he stroll to the bottom of the garden and looked up at the stars - Jason meanwhile went to get the playing cards Thomas had brought. Thomas and Emma decide to go into the living area where they talk by the open fire.
A loud scream echos from upstairs - ''it's Amy'' says Emma, they run upstairs and in room 22 there lay on the floor in a pool of blood was Dr. Allan! it was now 11:22 PM.
They call for help.
Meanwhile.
Amy clearly distraught says Dr Allan walked in the room and collapsed holding a fountain pen and a letter.
They read the letter '' My dear boy Thomas, Your Mother would be so proud to have a golden child beeming so loud. It's her birthday today 15/03/58 I have a gift but this can wait''
