My Internet keeps cutting out

My Internet connection has been cutting out all Night, it stays on for 2 minutes then goes off.

It's a mobile Broadband Dongle on 3 contract (I have phoned them, they are no help at all).

Every 2 minutes the icon at the bottom of my screen where the 2 monitors are and a Globe when you are online, well the globe dissappears after 2 mins and the problem loading page comes up. I restart connection Manager and the same cycle happens again.

Can any fellow Blues give me any advice on why it's doing this?

Although i am not 100% sure , your internet connection seems to be timing out due to it staying idle for 2 minute or more. Now , the main reason for this is if your computer is in power save mode , so turn it to Balanced or High Perfomance mode, and if that doesnt work either you could try using programs like these <a class="postlink" href="http://www.totalshareware.com/asp/detail_view.asp?application=6964" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.totalshareware.com/asp/detai ... ation=6964</a> which ping your isp constantly to get http information thus keeping your connection alive.


But i would say that it is a temporary ISP problem, and that it would correct it self soon.

Nice one Ragnarok I'm with three and my machine has been dropping the connection, the connection keeper works a treat.
