My internet. TECHY HELP!

It's difficult to explain, but ever since a week ago it's been up and down. I've been stuck on a local area network for a week and tonight it's decided to break. I tried to connect back to my internet but it refuses. It just goes back to the local area network or another network in the area. But when it does eventually connect to my internet, it says that it's "authenticating" and that it is "finding the network address" and the IP adress is 0.0.0.0.0 rather than its normal setting. It's really annoying me as it's only like this on my laptop and I've been forced to go onto a computer that has almost died its last death.

Can anyone help?
