Cheers Toma will have a read, actually got the book in the post this morning (which I wasn't expecting) and one of the dogs has had a right go at it, ripped all the cover and chewed all the corners, luckily it's still readable, the little shit.

when you take it out later, i'd rub the hairy bastards nose in it's own shit as a punishment.

nothing a walk in delamere forest followed by a dogless drive home wouldn't sort out. the mutts a fucking rag and no mistake. cain the canine.

toma, that is a truly excellent piece. i felt quite emotional reading it. i also feel a bit of a ****. i met him briefly in '96 when he says he was at his lowest. it was the night germany dumped england out of the euros and i was pissed up. i went over to him in royale's and started banging on about him being a city legend. he must have wanted me to shut the fuck up.

Aye that's an excellent piece LT mate, some every open and honest answers.
I've got a feeling this book's going to be quite an emotional read, especially for those who were around when Lakey was and remember how it panned out watching from the sidelines for him.
I've said this before and I'll say it again, if Lakey hadn't been injured we wouldn't have ended up in half the crap we did, I'm still convinced of that even now.
