My YouTube channel - Episode 47 (P25)

Are there any signs leading up to that bridge? It just appears seemingly. Only a new bridge but it looks the part doesn't it? Imagine having the financial clout to be able to afford your own private bridge to access your own land?

The Jail Branch river in Vermont got its name from the area it flows through, which was once the location of a jail in the town of Barre. The Jail Branch is a tributary of the Winooski River, and its modern significance is tied to the East Barre Dam, which was built in response to the 1927 flood to provide flood control for the surrounding areas.

I don't know how correct that information is because sometimes the internet lies more than Jurgen Klopps momma.
Wow where did you get that info from as I searched for ages looking!

I must have better internet than you, but seriously I can't take the credit AI can do that just nicely mate ;-)

Either way your "Jail" theory wasn't far off.
I just googled this!

No, there is no evidence of a jail in East Barre
, but there is a "Jail Branch" of the Winooski River, which likely caused confusion. The East Barre Dam, built to prevent flooding after 1927, is located on this "Jail Branch". The name of the waterway is a historical detail and not indicative of a former jail facility in East Barre.
  • The term "Jail Branch" refers to a waterway, not a former correctional facility.
  • The East Barre Dam was constructed on the Jail Branch of the Winooski River by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers after the 1927 floods to help prevent future flooding.
