Myths of the modern day City

The myth of all myths, generated by the media, is that we are not, and never will be, good enough to win the title because we do not have:

1. Alex Ferguson as manager
2. Team spirit
3. Enough English players
4. Flowing football
5. Players who bleed blue if you cut them....

The list is endless.

The myth disguises the truth. City will win the PL at some point in the next three years and the media can't stand the idea. They find it unbearable that foreign owners (and this is significant as the feint aroma of xenophobia is gradually turning into a stagnant smell) can come to this country and upset the balance of the established order.

And once we do win the league, a new myth will be created by the media - that they knew we would always win the title at some point.

They are fickle, hypocritical, turncoat pricks.

We are alone in this, people. And I, for one, love the splendid isolation.

We nicked that song from Crewe

There's no team spirit (even though Joe Hart said it's like a family and he feels right at home; even though when Micah Richards was asked on Twatter 'would you sign for Spurs?' he said 'No, sorry. I'm CTID!'; even though he might no ever get a game Shaun Wright-Phillips wants to stay at City rather than sign for a club he'd start for eeryone week because he loves the club...)!

-- Fri Aug 12, 2011 9:50 am --

There's no team spirit (even though Joe Hart said it's like a family and he feels right at home; even though when Micah Richards was asked on Twatter 'would you sign for Spurs?' he said 'No, sorry.
