Nani

He is the type of no-nonsense winger we need. Despite his alleged hatred of MCFC, he would probably come if offered a 120K per week contract. After all, money talks and he wouldn't have to move house. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sp ... senal.html

No nonsense? Are we talking about the same, diving, complaining and cheating player?

As much as I detest this slimy little **** he'd be fucking quality in our team and Dzeko would be power wanking at the mere thought of having his crosses to feed off.

More chance of QPR winning a game tho imo.

I would like to think when we assess players its more than "how much money is he wanting?"

Sure, Nani has some talent but he is very inconsistent, moody and a cheat.

I would like us to get players with the right attitude, not only the talent but the right "TEAM" mentality. Willing to put a shift in and put their bodies on the line like VK and Zaba.

Not just interested in themselves and their wage packet.

Dont think hed fit into your team the way you currently set up, hes undoubtedly a much better player than Nasri or anyone else you have on that right hand side but hes a winger and Mancini dosnt like them from what i can see, maybe if you hired Guardiola Nani would suit you more seeing as he likes having quick wide right players going by the way he used Alexis and Pedro, dont see Mancini going for him though unless you plan on changing your style of play but i doubt wed ever sell him to you anyway.

Quality player, will be a loss to us if he goes, looks like hes fallen out with Sir alex over a new contract, ends in 2014.

We prolly won't spend over £8million on a winger as long as Mancini is here because no matter how many times he says "Ronaldo is a fantastic player who can change games" and "Bale is a fantastic player who can change games", he won't utilise wingers as a regular feature in his system.

I don't like his attitude but he is still a very good player. If you believe the speculation, Arsenal are meant to be tracking his progress.

Isn't he a bit inconsistent? I've heard United fans complain about his consistency.

That's one area we can't afford to indulge, despite Nani's undoubted abilities.

Yes very, hes infuriating because he can be unquestionably brilliant, when hes bang on form youll find many united fans say hes as good if not better than Rooney, a couple of seasons ago he literally carried us with Berbatov when we had the whole Rooney contract saga, he was special, he had some ridiculous stats something like 35 assists in 40 games with about 15 goals or something like that, he can shoot from any distance on either foot and be devastating, his crossing can be pinpoint perfect, he can play of either wing hes lightning fast honestly he has it all when hes on his game, when hes not hes fucking infuriating because we know what hes capable of, Valencia is a much more consistent winger but his top level is nowhere near compared to Nanis and thats why youll see a lot of United fans, myself included gutted to see him go especially for what looks like a reduced fee given hes out of contract in 18 months.

Hes as good as any pure winger in the world when he wants to be, never seen anyone take ashley cole apart as consistently and easily as he has a number of times for us, watch our game against Chelsea at Old trafford last season for an example, he scored a worldy goal that day but that was half the story, he murdered cole all afternoon, ive never seen even Ronaldo play that well against him.

Don't know a real United fan who wouldn't be glad to see the back of him. A waster, they dread him starting or coming on. Gives away the ball without a care, totally inconsistent, a joke.

Don't know if it was fake but isn't their pictures of him at Arsenals training ground on Sunday floating around?

Not fake he was there, Arsenal want him and we want rid, rumours are we would want Walcott as part of any deal, Fergie wants rid of Nani desperately for some reason, strange because Nani out walcott in is only weakening one team and it aint Arsenal..

Don't need a chart to tell us Nani is a much better footballer than Walcott. How many wingers aren't a bit inconsistent anyway and won't Nani's big wage demands put off Arsenal?

I like Walcott, hes one of the very few genuine good guys in the modern game, always have liked him, but the only truly exceptional part of his game is his pace, hes unbelievably wasteful in key areas, his crossing is awful compared to Nani, hes one dimensional in that hes very predictable the total opposite of Nani, look at the assist difference in that table im surprised its even that 'close', plus hes always said he wants to be a striker long term, theres no way hed get anywhere near the striker position at United right now or in the future for that matter.

I like Walcott, good player but thats about it, hes never going to be a great player, Nani genuinely can be and has shown signs of greatness when hes been at his top level, if in the highly unlikely event you lot signed him, i reckon hed have you off your seat very quickly and youd love him within 6 months.

Interested to know, who would you rather have at City?
