Latest jrb/sad seat counter update.

Accordong to the OS seat planner. All lower and middle tier seats have gone, bar the odd one or two in blocks 142, 131, 121 and 122. (they'll sell tomorrow no doubt)

So it's now up to City to push the remaining seats in the 3rd tiers and the Family Stand. Hopefully City will do open sales for the last 3 days.

I work for Trinity Mirror who bought out the MEN last year. One of the accounts I happen to work on is Manchester City FC and let me assure you that the club are putting a massive push advertising wise to shift tickets for Wednesday, both in press and online. Literally spending thousands so it`s now up to us to pack the place.

Still won't make any difference if people don't have the 70pts, that has been one problem plus a school night, summer hols over and games coming 2 a week.

I simply cannot believe this hasn't sold out.

1. We are currently playing some of the best stuff in Europe

2. First appearance in champions league

3. Ticket prices dirt cheap

4. Not on Terrestrial TV

5. The players we posses are among the best footballers in the world

6. This exact competition is what we have CRAVED since the takeover

IF we cannot sell this out something is SERIOUSLY wrong.

So when the players walk out of the tunnel with the Champions league tune playing in our first ever CL game and you look around the stadium and see thousands of empty seats you'll be happy with that? I'm a real fan and i'll tell you what i'll be fucking fuming

I don't care who the fuck is there as long as I'm there sat next to my daughter watching a game I've waited for since 1968

I'd swap all the fucking thousands of others there to have my dad there beside us

If we don't see out this game, it is seriously disappointing. How can we ever move forward as a club with such small support? If the fans won't come to such important games, our owners may reconsider their long term plans for the club.
