3 trees ripped out of the ground on my street alone, can't see it going ahead if Manchester is the same tomorrow but see what happens

jaysus I'm in a windtrap here and we get more wind than this on a regular winter's day.

But anyways, I can't see it affecting the game itself, unless public transport is a public safety issue. I think it'll pass Manchester by then.

Weird that more people thought we’d lose to Palace than the best team on mainland Europe at present.

Just hope the weather doesn’t get it called off but you guys will have a better idea than me as you’re actually in Manchester.

Napoli:

Ederson
Danilo---Stones---Otamendi---Delph
Dinho
De Bruyne-----------Gundogan
Sterling-----------Jesus-------------Sane
Burnley:
Ederson
Walker------Stones-----Otamendi------Danilo
Dinho
De bruyne-------------Silva
Bernardo
Aguero--------Jesus
Not heavy rotation, but swaps fullbacks since we are limited there already and each get a rest. Danilo hasn't let us down yet when he has been called on. Gundogan is perfectly capable of coming in for Silva and Kun gets one more match rest. For Burnley Bernardo gets a start as he, Silva, and De Bruyne will work well in their packed defense. Both line ups allow for some heavy hitters coming off the bench too.

It'll be fine. It's due to have gone by tomorrow lunchtime so unless bits of the stadium start falling off like that one in Cork there shouldn't be any reason to cancel.

I will be suprised if anything other than the same team that started against Stoke starts against Napoli.

Aguero will start against Burnley.

Really? I think Pep disagrees. Hence why we played that formation against Liverpool, a side with a similar attacking style to Napoli. It's designed to give more defensive cover and to control the ball.

We had Two fully fit strikers, 3 centre backs and most importantly, a natural left back available, plus Sane who doesn't fit into that formation wasn't fully upto speed and didn't deserve to start. We no longer have the players that favour that formation, with what we have available and the form of certain players our best formation is currently the formation we played against Stoke. Unless we sign a left back in January i don't anticipate we'll play many games if any with that formation again this season. I think Pep will change things slightly but it will be more to do with tweaking positioning than an outright formation change.

I don't think either side is as great as the current hyperbole is making them out to be.

All the same, the truth is probably somewhere in the middle, and we are on a higher level, just in terms of how many match winners we do have and how poorly I consider Serie A to be in comparison to its heyday.

I also put a lot of stock in the amount of actual 'big' matches we have played in this competition in recent seasons, so wouldn't be in the least bit surprised if we roll them over if we get our noses in front first.

if we play 3-5-2 danilo and Aguero are playing, 4-3-3 same as against stok,
we can play both formation and win strong. we won 5-0, 6-0, 2-0, n 4-0, playing 3-5-2, We played 4-3-3 aginst CHE and STK. Pep loves to play Kun n jesus together, i am yet to him play 4-3-3 with AnJ together.

Napoli is stong team, and they are fairly good and find space, but there acuracy is not soo good and ther def is at times to open, but they are quick, and they have 3 goal sccorer.. the good thing for us is, that for they want to win the League, CL is «less» important,
I expect a good game with 3 or 5+ goals. If we can get control of the ball with the first 2min and keep it, amd olay like we did against stk, we will win and it could be as much as 4 or 5-0, but I think most likely we will win 3-1 just because they have scored in every game so far.,

Maybe they will be taking it 'easy':

Or is it a tactic to try and make us complacent?

Even if so, we have the perfect manager to combat complacency. If they really do want to roll over for us then let's continue the offensive outburst and hit them for 4 or 5.
