Nasri prefers the play in the middle, but he's much better out wide. Wenger wanted to transform him into the next Robert Pires but Nasri didn't want that. Wenger was right though, as he had his best season ever playing there. But whenever Cesc was injured and we were forced to play Nasri in his preferred role, he was terrible.
He's brilliant at crosses and dribbling, but doesn't have the passing vision and patience of a playmaker. It's why I don't even know why you guys signed him when you have a top class English player (Adam Johnson) whose just as good as he is with the potential to be better. Wish you guys had given him to us in a swap deal instead :(
