Mancini is good, never gives anything away.

his 'i don't know' comments are great.

of course he knows what's happening, he's the manager of the team, he needs to know.

He's just saying those things because Arsene went into a melt-down the last time he said he was interested

James Milner started for Aston Villa on August 14th, 2010, and signed for Manchester City on August 17th, 2010.

So everybody needs to calm down over Nasri starting for Arsenal tomorrow.

let's hope the similarities with Milner stop there.............

Milner hasn't been that bad since joining City.

He was poor in the early months of last season because he was played wide on the left in big games. Then when he came back from his injury he was played down the middle against West Ham and Everton and had his best games in a City shirt.

This is a claim I see a lot, but in fact Milner's best games for City was actually playing wide. Against Liverpool he was very good and I can't remember the other team. He was decent in the middle, but that was coz those games came on the heels of 1 or 2 poor performances on the wings. Yet he had his 2 best games playing on the wing.

I like milner he has alot more to offer than barry

Milner was good in FA Cup games often in the middle, albeit against lower league opposition. When we were troubled by some lower league teams he seemed like one of the few not shellshocked by them.

-- Sat Aug 20, 2011 1:09 am --

Express:

But the deal is rumoured to have been held up by a row over who should pay Nasri’s representatives, who stand to make £1m-plus from the transfer.

City think Nasri should pay them, but the player wants the club to fork out. City boss Roberto Mancini is furious at the delay.

Can't agree with this.I was so anti Barry it wasn't funny until the community shield.

Milner got the nod and ran around like a headless chicken chasing shadows,Barry came on and totally set the tempo for us..so for now and I didn't think I ever would be,but I'm with Gaz here.
