Am I the only one who'd find it hilarious if Nasri started for Arsenal today? Totally indicative of Wenger losing the plot, and how desperate he's become. And it will likely not end well for them because the fans will boo him. Liverpool are favourites for this game for me.

There was a guy from Manchester Evening News on Talksport last night who stated Man Utd were interested in Nasri at the start of the summer but that interest has long gone and they are not in for Nasri , end of story , along with that this rumour of Arsenal wanting Tevez is also a load of claptrap as theres as much chance of Tevez going to Stoke as there is of him going to Arsenal . He said the deal would be completed this week , yes its dragging on but it will be completed . Ignore the crap being floated about at the moment .

Heard that, he also said the thing that's holding it up is the agent fees everything else is sorted....

Aha yeah thats the bit i couldnt remember , so all in all Nasri to play for Arsenal today , get a boat load of verbal abuse from their fans and then complete his deal to us .

Once it became clear that he wouldnt sign for us in time for the Bolton game, didnt it become in our interests for him to play for arsenal (assuming he doesnt get injured)?

How much football has he had recently apart from the France game? He must need the match practice and would surely be more likely to play against Spurs if he gets a match under his belt this weekend.

He certainly did, he played for Villa on the 14th August and signed for us on the 17th.
