Nasri [Merged] continued.

Given the current state of AFC I think they will keep Nasri. i certainly would if I were in their shoes.

They had a decent team out against Liverpool, but the confidence has drained from them. Players like Arshavin look useless. they need nasri? Not much time to get in replacements. They can't afford to sell him and hope to finish in the top 4

Wenger on TF1:"At the moment Nasri isn't leaving. it's political, that means he could leave one day, but it's far far far from being done."

This was said this morning by wenger

You must be fucking gutted then.

A chance to get rid of an inconsistent mediocre fancy-dan player for over £22m, and Wenger seems to be fighting the deal?

You need to get those protests about Wenger going a bit mate... it's as if he's got a deathwish...

Everybody knows that Arsenal fans will be doing cartwheels if Nasri has a change of heart and decides to sign a new contract at Arsenal, because Nasri is a superb footballer. Why they bother coming out with all this bitter bollocks about him being over-rated I'll never know.

It's because they're hurting.

Just like when you get dumped and suddenly she becomes the woman from Hell.

Denial makes the world go around...

I am going to say what i think (tin hat on)

SWP for the role i think he could do it

Not enough ball skills. We need a playmaker. Not a pure winger.

move him inside still got pace will break up play and a good link man from backs to front

SWP needs space to operate though.

If he stays and sign a new contract and plays on the wing....I would be delighted. if he stays and see out his contract....i would be disgusted because it sends the wrong message to the remaining players and we will have the same problem next year when players will see out there contract. its vital they make a point of not letting anyone run down their contract.

People mix two things....i rate nasri as a player when he plays on the right wing as i believe thats his best position by far. i hate when he plays in the middle as the team never functions when he's there. its really that simple

How confident are you rick that he won't sign??bearing in mind arsenal have intially fucked us around and the only thing left is the agent?? Mancini stated it's very close and should be sorted asap and I mentioned yesterday morning that wenger had begged to play nasri as he had no midfielders left!!
whaaaaaaat......thats the worst theory ever. Why would he beg another team to play his own player? And he has other midfielders, sure they are younger and not as good. But he could play Lansbury who's U21 England international for example.
Mate on this one my info has come from the arsenal end!!! Arsenal board room member to be accurate!! All the reports of deal to be done Thursday/Friday, sky at the etihad?? Abit too much smoke without fire wouldn't you say? Deal was done and agreed but with no DECENT midfielders available arsenal wanted to use nasri!! This agent fee is causing a stand off at present though.

to be fair fella what you posted was bang on regarding Nasri being selected yesterday (still feckin mad that City agreed to it though but hey ho) just hope this ting is sorted soon maybe even an announcement today on the website like Fabregas

Anyway forget Nasday / Nasweek or whatever if he come he comes - today i want to see Aguero whom has come and did not take 2 months plus to do it

I just thought as cover for Silver he could fill the gap and relish a new role within the team .
22MILL or give him a go?

How do Barry, De Jong, Yaya, Silva and Nasri share the pitch? Unless Nasri is played wide I don't see it happening. This team needs possession. The rags showed us that if we sit back they'll pick the lock. We can't settle for 40-45% possession against the likes of Swansea. Even if were scoring goals. Dzeko and Aguero have to be on the field together as well. They complete one another.

He'll play Nasri where AJ plays

So you're in the pool that say Nasri is a winger? I'd say he's a midfielder myself. Incredibly tough decisions for Roberto.

Not really I just think that's where Mancini will play him or like you said midfield is a possibility but it'll be the Yaya role in my opinion, those run forwards he makes, Nasri does that too like yesterday where he had a run and shot
