You must be fucking gutted then.

A chance to get rid of an inconsistent mediocre fancy-dan player for over £22m, and Wenger seems to be fighting the deal?

You need to get those protests about Wenger going a bit mate... it's as if he's got a deathwish...

Everybody knows that Arsenal fans will be doing cartwheels if Nasri has a change of heart and decides to sign a new contract at Arsenal, because Nasri is a superb footballer. Why they bother coming out with all this bitter bollocks about him being over-rated I'll never know.

If he stays and sign a new contract and plays on the wing....I would be delighted. if he stays and see out his contract....i would be disgusted because it sends the wrong message to the remaining players and we will have the same problem next year when players will see out there contract. its vital they make a point of not letting anyone run down their contract.

People mix two things....i rate nasri as a player when he plays on the right wing as i believe thats his best position by far. i hate when he plays in the middle as the team never functions when he's there. its really that simple

So its Wenger and his tactics that are shit?

You will be delighted to have him stay and "rate" him as a player and sign a new contract but you are on record as saying he is over-rated?

He made the interview this morning with TF1 a french Channel he has ties with and do commentary for when france plays. the links will come in couple of hours...just be patient

SWP cover for Silva?!

I love him as much as any City fan but that's a bit like expecting him to be cover for Vincent Kompany.

Anyone else seen/heard SS1 News from 11.00 am ??
I didn`t hear anything yesterday ref Wenger/Nasri, but on this mornings news its clear that he mentions Nasri and Manchester City !!
The shot is on Nasri coming off and Wenger discussing the availablity of Players for the Udinese game. However the background noise of the fans, with Wenger talking, but it doesn`t show the shot where he mentions Manchester City,so you can`t lip read.
Someone please watch it again at mid-day and see what you think.I`m positive he said Nasri and Manchester City and it didn`t appear to be negative.
If someone says different then I`ll book myself into The Bridgewater and get the fookin ears de-waxed !!

sad fact is that SWP is in the last year of his contract and his opportunities are going to be minimal maybe the odd cup game and cameo appeaance for us and for 60K a week does not represent value for money - we aint going to offer him a new contract and we can get something for him now and replace him with Cerci for similar wages and a few million more on SWP transfer fee (or so it would appear)

Sad really because SWP was always and will always be associated with City but things changed and i am pleased that the club are giving him options

Samir Nasri's proposed move to Manchester City is still alive, despite reports of a hold-up in negotiations between the two clubs.

This is taken from the BBC article on George Graham on Wenger. Goes to show that despite the BBC tweeting the reports, the media don't know.

Nasri wants to join the rags and i wouldn't be surprised if whiskey nose has told him to wait via Evra.

The Wenger interview sounds like an old one to me from a month ago, when what he says was probably the case - either that or Wenger has finally lost his marbels.
Too many reports of deal being near completion for what he says to be true

Am I the only one who is bored of this - of all the midfield options available - Modric, Mata, Pastore, Sneijder - Nasri is bottom of the pile for me. I couldn't care whether he signs or not - (actually on balance not) - but his f'in circus is just a joke. City just move on - there's better out there - if not now then next summer. We have a good squad lets just get on with the season and tell Wenger and the Arse to keep their mini / major crisis to themselves. I hoped we were better than this...
