We should have walked from this nasri deal a long time ago and gone for mata.

I think we take a fair share of the blame to be honest for once again flogging a dead horse for far too long.

We are going to be stuffed now going for an alternate with so little time.

I have backed cook and marwood to the hilt in the past but I have to agree with Mancini it's just not good enough how transfer business is being conducted at the club currently.

Their best bet is to play on the counter-attack with Walcott and Van Persie. I think they will win
lol we are in a shocking state mate.....We will go out
You'll be OK Gooney. Unfortunately your own club's incompetence has sabotaged this deal for Nasri. Very disappointing for us.

How do you know this....or are you guessing based upon a few things coming from the French media...?

Arsenal are in deep shit with injuries, suspensions and a lack of quality and the only thing holding this up is Arsenal waiting to get their replacements in imo.

Arsenal will be wanting to be seen to have done this deal on their terms and rightly so.

Patience is the key word.

would appear to be Nasri agents demanding 3 million in agents fees that is the problem nothing to do with Le Arse - they will have the same selection problems next week and most likely the week after - they need players in and too do that they need players out

The unknown is are Nasri agents deliberately being twats to slow the process in the hope others may come in or are they just greedy twats or are they deliberatly scuppering a deal so Nasri sees out his contract and gets pick of other teams next summer

Where does that figure come from ??

Yeah would like to know myself, not trying to have a go but just curious as latest from bbc sport journo saying nasri still very much on and fully expected by city to be city player very soon ?

with regard to nasri, #mufc interest not active. #mcfc still expect to overcome hurdle of agents feets this week.

Listening to 606 they were saying they think he will stay and see out his deal.

Also that nasri is the only player they have at the moment that can make anything happen for them. Led down the garden path again IMO. Wonder if its too late to put a cheeky in for mata ?

@howardnurse

put this way, if i had to bet £100 to bet on nasri - id put £90 on mcfc to sign him then £6 on un*ted and £4 to stay at arsenal

1 hour ago via twitter

is howard nurse on City's or arsenal's board or Nasri's agent? If not what is the value of what he tweets?

Think pretty certaini read it in a paper just cant remember which - there are 3 agents / scrotes / hangers on etc after a cut of 1 Million each - one of them is his father another one his french agent and there was a third referenced

this would appear to be right because i cannot honestly believe that we would risk this transfer over a million - i will fnd it just cant find the article at the mo
