Mancini isn't the clearest of speakers. What he hopes for could easily be confused with what he thinks is happening

Sounds good, but caution required
 
The hold up is over agents' fees, as we know. As I said a few days ago, it's never simple as agents often appear out of the woodwork and that's what's happened here. The main agent fee was intially agreed but then demands were made for £1m each for two other agents and Nasri's father. That's what we drew the line at as we will only pay one agent.

If Modric is so sure to stay, there was no reason at all not to play him tonight, unless 'arry took a bung.

Yes there was. There might be a danger of them winning if he played.
