Telegraph:

Nasri is understood to have told close friends that he would prefer a move to Manchester United or Spain ahead of City, and sources in France have indicated that he may now be ready to consider a one-year contract extension at Arsenal in order to leave the club for a more preferable destination next summer.

This sentence contains high levels of fail.

If the journalist just thought about this line of logic for a second.... nah never mind.

That sentence is totally in keeping with much of this thread!

If city are saying no to Nasri's dad then seriously I can't see this going through it's like Kaka all over again. Split the 3 mill with Arsenal and get it done before we miss our chance. Nasri is worth the exception being made.

I can well imagine Nasri boarding the plane - Bobby going mental and cookie and Co stumping up the dosh two hours before the team sheets are announced - squeeky bum time

could go to Wednesday - he could leave him out of the matchday 18 as the team is announced about an hour or so before kick off on Wednesday so nothing is certain but if he goes we have to assume he plays unless we sort out the agents fees before tomorrow night

Deffo brinksmandhip going on by all parties Nasrie being the only one that cant loose which is why i think its city that are going to have to stump up the dosh because Le Arse wont and Nasri greedy bastard agent can wait another 12 months and trouser even more dosh

head says pay it heart say fuck em

Just gone up on The Guardian: Nasri will not travel with Arsenal to Udinese to protect his move to Man City.

God i hope thats true. after all the speculation, from a city p.o.v he needs to join. cant have another long persuit go up in smoke. i think he'll sign. look at the way we've started and in terms of squad members we are unparralled, who would not want to play here??
