Nasser Al-Khelaifi elected to Uefa executive committee

I think it’s great news for us.

PSG are, like us, the devil incarnate when it comes to the established "top" clubs in Europe and having someone on the inside can only be a good thing, IMHO.
Qatar and the UAE are hardly bosom buddies though.
What PB said, plus PSG getting brought 'inside' could leave us very isolated.

Thwarted Ed Woodward’s aspirations too, apparently. Great stuff.
You can just imagine the meeting:

“Right lads. We need to elect a new delegate to the UEFA Executive Council to replace Gazidis.”
“Who’s up for it?”
“Ed Woodward and Nasser Al Khelaifi”.
“Jesus H Christ! Will Woodward still be in a job this time next year?”
“Not sure how he’s in a job now.”
“It’s Nasser then.”

It'd be nice to actually have a voice on the inside but assuming all is above board (haha) they won't be doing psg anytime soon now and that should be to our advantage as our figures can't be worse than theirs.

Wasn't Abramovich one of the architects -in-chief of FFP? Not always the case that your enemy's enemy is your friend!

There's no way UEFA could ban us and not PSG for spending the courts would have a field day.
could take 5 years or so in the courts by which time the damage is done and the squad needs rebuilding again as players leave for the chumps league, it was this threat of time that probably weighed heavily in accepting the first punishment\settlement rather than cost of the legal challenge.
