My current NAT setting is strict and I'm trying to change it to open (moderate at the very least,) for gaming on my Xbox. After much research I discovered the best course of action was to reset the hub. This should remove updates and put your NAT to open. I've done this after being on the phone to BT for 9 hours and unfortunately to no avail. I was just wondering if any tech experts have any alternatives, and if they would care to guide me through them step-by-step. I must admit, I'm not too great with technology! Thank you in advance!

Here y go amigo,

1) Make sure you have the latest version of firmware (To check the version of firmware running on your Homehub simply browse to <a class="postlink" href="http://192.168.1.254" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://192.168.1.254</a> and look at the banner at the bottom of the page)

<a class="postlink" href="http://pbteu.bt.motive.com/ElectiveFWUpgradePortal/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://pbteu.bt.motive.com/ElectiveFWUpgradePortal/</a>

2) Go here, its step-by-step

<a class="postlink" href="http://support.xbox.com/en-us/pages/xbox-live/troubleshoot/connection-issues/nat-type-strict.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://support.xbox.com/en-us/pages/xbo ... trict.aspx</a>

Click on second Show all (above 1: Restart your network equipment)

3) Have fun :))
