Dias has played FAR too much football this season. And the daft fuckers at Portugal thought it was a good idea to play him every minute of all 3 games in the recent internationals.

He looked fatigued before the international break and looked very much like he needed a rest against Dortmund on Tuesday.

As for Ake, he was fine yesterday for a player who’s hardly played for us, with us being a new club, a much bigger club than his previous one, having lived under pandemic circumstances... I’ll judge him next season.
 
Surely too early to judge.

As for signing him for £40m, at that time we had a shite defence and Stones was barely on the radar. Who could have foreseen just how good Dias would be?

Let‘s give him a bit more of a chance and unload the likes of Mendy who have had plenty of opportunity.

I thought he did okay yesterday, not easy covering Mendy and even more so when you haven't played since January or something like that.

No one will be daft enough to part with money for Mendy. If we want rid of him we will have to part fund that one.

Where did you get your masters degree in sports science?
 
Thought he did well today but looks like he was injured right at the end. Hopefully he’ll be alright as he would probably play most of the remaining games.
