Not that I know of, no. Don't think that's how it works. If he agrees terms and we accept the fee before the end of his contract it is just a regular old player transfer. He wouldn't get any more than what he normally does.
It is only if we were to refuse to let him go or to accept a fee for him that he could put in a transfer request and forsake whatever end of contract loyalty bonus he has agreed. Which he would only get if he stayed without requesting a transfer. How I understand it at least.

Not sure I’d be all that happy if we were signing him given the age he’s coming to the League at - but as it’s Chelsea, I couldn’t give a fuck whether he works out or not.
It will be interesting to see how he adapts after so long in Italy.

This guy is highly reliable if you’ve seen him about, saying struggling to agree a fee which makes sense, I’m happy keeping ake unless we get a big offer.
I know he's good for team news before games sometimes but I think he's only recently started trying to say things about transfers so I think his credibility on that is still up in the air. He had said the other day a fee was basically agreed

Chelsea probably want him to replace Christensen who in the Champions League they could register as a club-trained HG player. Anyone else would take up another space in the squad, so Ake would be very useful to them.
I wish it was that number.
By the most conservative reports, we are getting 50m for Raz including even the most minimal add-ons. Some claim up to 10m in add-ons, which brings it closer to 60m. All in £ for clarity. Call it evens down the middle at 55m and run with that if it helps you sleep better. Similar with Gabi 45m plus anything from 5m to 10m in add-ons, call it 50m for ease.
I think we will get 50m for Ake as well in one form or another, wouldn't worry about specific numbers as claimed by various outlets, best guesses and a bit of headline generating. The club will be happy with it otherwise it wouldn't be happening. 2.5m at those scales is really neither here nor there to worry about.
