So have seen quite a lot of Nathan Patterson and it's clear he is going to be a very, very good footballer. Intelligent, quick and physical and playing for Scotland national team at the age of 18. Could see him as a great successor to Kyle Walker at right back if we brought him in early enough. Rangers rejected a bid from Everton and another apparent bid from Arsenal. £18m bid would bring him in and if it doesn't work we recoup our few at the very least.

He may be playing for Scotland at 18.....but wouldn't be in our EDS.

Had a cracking game tonight and recovered well in the second half, playing a vital part in our comeback. Looks set to be playing in a World Cup. Not too bad for a youngster of just 19.

If we go for a right back they have to be better than Frimpong, who is classified as club trained at City, he has played 10 games has 5 assists 3 yellows and is ripping up a better league, all players develope at different times so if he keeps improving you never know.

Sold to Everton today for £12m plus addons at 18. Interesting to see where this incredible talent will head in future.

Hopefully a nice sell on clause included for Rangers.

Scotland seem to have produced a crop of good, young fullbacks (Tierney, Robertson, Patterson, even Calvin Ramsay at Liverpool), but they must have forgotten to put fertiliser in the other fields.
