National Lottery / Scratchcards

It's fun, and when I haven't won, it's a fix. I have the same numbers as I've always had but Mrs Ewing buys those. The day we don't buy a ticket is the fuckin' day the numbers win a double rollover! I buy a couple of lucky dip tickets for the Euro but up to now an unknown number of Johnny Foreigners have fucked off with my prize money. And we do a couple of scratchcards with each purchase. And we follow the sage advice - WHEN THE FUN STOPS, STOP. Which I translate as if yer haven't won don't chase yer losses. And when it comes down to it there can't be a more deserving case for winning a triple or quadruple Euro millions rollover than me. And by the way, I've made a note of the fuckers who've annoyed me on this forum and those who've spread a little joy my way!!

My wife tells me the same ;-)

One??? Are you kidding? They're there for half an hour buying a dozen, scratching them off before they've paid for them and using any winnings to buy more, as you wait behind them imagining murder when all you want to do is buy a pint of milk.
Now,now....it's their dole money and they are entitled to spend it as they wish.

don't mind a scratch cards now and again and only 1 when i feel like it ?? but the lotto is crap and euro millions is even worst now at £2,50 a pop, BUT what gets my goat up is the (premium phone numbers) like adverts or tv competitions or x factors competitions now that is fixed and taking your money without a mask

Only do it when it gets to silly amounts with the others in my team at work. Don’t fancy the thought of being sat in the office on my own whilst they are all livin’ it up :-)

You wouldn’t back a horse at 14,000,000 to 1

Since going to 59 numbers it’s 45,000,000 to 1. When it was still 49 numbers I read somewhere that if you put your numbers on Friday evening, you were more likely to die before the Saturday draw than win it.

You're far more likely to die in a plane crash. Worth pointing out to winners off celebrating, that one.

So not many winners then with looks of things, just a few tight arse gits who wouldn't fork out £2.50 for a chance to change your life, you'll die miserable bastards, but will have enough put away to pay for your funeral I suppose :)
