says a lot really, and she describes some of the people using this forum too.

don't think her conclusion is appropriate or workable though - and there really isn't a lot you can do about it but hope people eventually grow-up; which might be asking a little too much from some.

I think people take what others write on forums such as this way too seriously.

It's no different to the shit that gets talked about in pubs, just reaches a larger audience.

yes that's very true, but when it becomes far more than just a joke or an opinion about something - as was the case with O'Neill, then you start to blur the lines with things (and in a legal sense perhaps also) especially because it's much more public than just a private word or discussion with a mate in the pub.

she has a point about the cowardly nature of the situations too - with keyboard warriors, lol

Frequently, it is also a recipe for understandable depression. There is an unfairness inherent in seeing people ridiculed and their reputations trashed by anonymous, factually challenged, half-wits who would probably never dare say "boo" to the object of their vitriol's face.
Rings a bell to me.

Beckham is a puff, Rooney is a ugly fuck and Capello is a... speaks for itself...

I wonder if she realises how ironic that statement is. Probably not.
