This often happens after you visit online shopping stores like Dixons or Currys. Have you done any online shopping recently?

It looks like some advertising or info gathering website has been blocked, when you were browsing Bluemoon. Microsoft Security Essentials is your antivirus software, so you should rest assured it is doing its job correctly, and keeping you safe from malicious software on sites linked by adverts on the Bluemoon forum.

I was only kidding about Currys by the way. The threat definitely came from a Bluemoon link.

If you're using MSE then it also controls your firewall (presuming you haven't installed anything else). It's not a virus warning but is telling you that it's not a trusted site (according to your firewall, sorry Ric) probably because of tracking software that's possibly related to you browsing sites like Curries.

Simplest solution is to clear your browsing history which will get rid of the tracking cookies. If you use an ad blocker it should stop them installing the cookies in the first place. At home you could add Bluemoon to your firewalls whitelist perhaps, at work is another matter (unless you're the boss or IT guy).

On the subject of needing Help,What is" long running script" that stops my bluemoon browseing. Thanks

Colin sorry to be so late in replying. The Bluemoon page freezes and across the bottom of the page is:"Bluemoon has stopped working due to long running script".I press the "X" and delete and everything runs in slow motion, and that's it.It's not as though I'd been on for hours, usually clicks in 30/45 min mark. Not a computer Keek so don't have a clue.Thanks.

A computer Keek? Lol, pretty sure that's a geek bud.

That's probably a Java script running in the background, I'd start with clearing your browsing history (all of it). It's usually the magic bullet for browsing troubles.
