need help with a nasty trojan virus

right so here is the issue: me and a mate were recently trawling the web when suddenly our avg starts going mad, saying massive threats etc, followed by a blue screen. now, i seem to have eradicated all of these but one, and its very confusing. i get a warning every so often from my avg resient shield thats reads like this:

C:\\WINDOWS\Temp\qdut.tmp\svchost.exe
Trojan horse Generic17 . AlzL

now this means it has created a new folder in my temp folder. when i find these folders however, they are all empty. also, where i have put qdut, that is just the name of the latest file. the four letters always change.

also, i believe one of these have put something on my computer called "advertisement service". basiclly this means every 5 minutes or so a pop up comes up,and it is generally a pain

now i know my techy knowledge is less than that of a boiled potato, so could anyone help? thanks

Geez, You've got all guns blazing there:

CCcleaner, Ad-aware, AVG AND Malwarebytes, Your on this like rhooney on a pie.

I cant see the process running in that scan so you may have blatted it.

A couple of things, You may not see any files in the folder as they may be system files, to see these in Explorer go TOOLS-->FOLDER OPTIONS -->VIEW. And Tick show hidden files and folders, untick Hide protected operating system files(Put it back when your done!!!!!).

Check back to the folder you think the files may be in.

And don;t buy Packard Bell from PC World again.
 
Malwarebytes will rid you of this mate. Google it, install it and it should get rid. Also ditch AVG and install Avast. Then install Spybot Search and Destroy and switch on the Tea Timer.
