I dont rate Mertesacker I watched him a few times in the Uefa Cup and he's nothing special, some of the defending in that German League is shocking! Theres only a handfull of good defenders in the whole league.

ohh not sure about this bak for you have put up only my opinion but why is richards starting in right back and where is Kompany who has been amazing this year.
I will agree that mertesacker would be a good signing tho he is class is he plyin for madrid now?
One prob I have is that we have been linked with Lescott who in my view would be a top signing to bring in.
