To what extent is it possible for one adult to need another? Beyond childhood, do we really need any other person to live happily?

I could quite happily live alone as long as I had daily contact with people . I haven't spoken to my brother for near 6 years and don't miss him tbh ( he's a rag ) . Everybody needs somebody but it's what you need them for that's the difference .

Everybody needs at least someone to be really close to and share life with, if it's a family member, a romantic partner or just a good friend.

I'm a better person when I'm with someone but I grow tired of people quite quickly. Serial monogamy is the best way for me. 18 months seams to be the optimal length for my relationships.

I like independence but to feel the love of your immediates is heart warming and enriching.
