Hi gang-

Is anyone part of/running a neighbourhood watch scheme? I have recently approached Trafford Councils 'partnership scheme' with regard to setting up something on my street. Once I had gone through the various layers numb-nuts who seem naturally drawn to working for councils I was given the information on setting something up. Basically I sent out a polite letter to everyone living here about the increase in undesirables in the area and how important it is we look out for each other on these times.

I've not had one fooking response in just over a week. I feel like breaking into some cars to teach them a lesson, but that would be wrong I know.

Having a NW Scheme is like admitting defeat.

Everyone on my street is either Retired or a decent family. One family moved out and rented their property.
This scrote moved in (with an American bull Terrier)
He collects rubbish for a living, leaving his van at the bottom.
He had a motorbike, leaving it on the pavement outside his house.

He started playing music, parties at 3am etc.
I wouldn't of bothered if he would of sent me an invite, but the **** didn't.

Old couples, young families, took issue - but didn't do nothing.

Me? I struck up a conversation with him, made him know that I was his friend and on his team.

A week later?

his van tyres were all slashed and his motorbike was kicked over.

He stuck around, but since, there hasn't been loud house parties.
Let's hope for his sake he's quiet when the kids on the street go back to school (or I'll be slashing something else)

Neighbourhood Watch is like begging on your knees.

Install private gates at either end of the road brookie. Stops all those pesky working class folk wandering.
