Took my mum last night, and what had seemed simply an act of dutiful son behaviour turned into a fantastically entertaining evening.

Obviously for most on here,Mr Diamond would not be the first name on your favourite artist list and, although i appreciate his classics, the same could be said for me,however,i was incredibly impressed - the man is a true superstar - 70 yrs old,he was on stage for almost two and a half hours and his voice and enthusiasm remained as strong as ever, truly inspirational, and, although the audience was an extremely eclectic mix,the overweight and elderly majorities were whipped into a frenzy song after song......Sweet Caroline was a sight to behold!

If he ever returns i urge anyone to go see him, expensive yes,but shows don't get much better.... A legend.

I saw some of his stuff on youtube a while ago and was quite impressed. I'm not sure i would pay to see him mind, but he has got a great voice and a great back catalogue.

My Ma and Da went to see him in Dublin a few years ago and loved it big time. The old man still plays his cds from time to time. His old vinyl records were great but he left them up in the attic and when bringing them down smashed most of his better albums he was gutted the old git.

My mum loves Nei, and there is no doubting his voice

Although not really a fan, I'd love to see Bruce Springsteen after watching his performance at Glastonbury 2009

I was mesmerised.

i took customers on monday to see him, and it was absolutely superb..although was like a scene from cocoon !!!

but a quality gig

Haha, got to agree about the cocoon comment but fair play the majority were on their feet having the time of their lives.

Bruce Springsteen is another i'd also like to see live as is Prince, like aphex i aint a huge fan but i expect their performances would be amazing.

I was there last night and yeah it was a good night. Definitely better than I've seen him in the past. Sometimes tends to be borderline cheesy (bled Sweet Caroline to death for instance) but there's no doubting his talent and the songs stand up for themselves, there's a bit of Neil Diamond to suit most people.

Neil Diamond = legend

Love on the Rocks .... sheer brilliance!

I'm going to see him on Saturday at the O2 - really looking forward to it.
