...honest! Well a little, in fact the more I think of the reality of how intense it will become with the remaining games, as a Blue wanting this for over 35 bloody years, i'm positvely startin to brick it... a little

FFS we're not used to it, what Blue is?? Very old school! Still with the level of exposure as a sport now its on another level! It will affect different people in different ways - Mario will be laughing when everyones crying and stone faced whilst all else is cheering (mostly).

Its taken over, a monster has been born - MCFC, new heightened level that can change things forever, so take it as it comes i guess . . .

I hate this feeling, if I could i'd just make every team play 2 games a day every day this week and have the season done!!

But then again I don't want this season to end!

If we get 7 points out of chelsea, arsenal and united, the title is ours. But the thing is, i can see us slipping up at Arsenal

If we beat United - we can afford to slip up somewhere.

we'll get 7 from them i'm 99% sure, it's newcastle and Norwich away that if we fail to take min of 4 points we will lose the league in my opinion.

I recon it will come down to having to win either Newcastle or QPR to mathematically (on superior goal difference) win the league.

Knowing City that will mean we will lose to Newcastle and have to win at QPR to win the league.

Im not actually too worked up at the moment, not cos of over confidence or anything like that, but because even if we finish second behind them scum we will have finished 2nd in the Premier League with virtually all impartial commentators and pundits admitting we have played the best football in the league all season long, with Eastlands becoming a fortress in the meantime.

Anyone think we would be in this position 10 years ago?!

And can anyone see the Red shite being able to achieve this sort of close competition next season without big investment?

Scousers are still going on about what might have been 3 years ago.......

Lets hope we don't if it doesnt happen. Its really not the end of the world. A disappointment yes but worse things happen.

And for those that are saying rags are worried etc.....Do you really believe this? Every rag I know is pretty pragmatic and says we deserve to win it but you dont always get what you deserve. I suppose when you have won as much as them then you dont really overly worry about football. I feel more relaxed about things this year based on one FA cup win. I would imagine it would become just one of those things after 20 odd trophies....annoying that we have won it maybe but not a slit your wrists moment!

If we have Lescott and Kompany available we have nothing at all to fear at Stoke. Last few times we've played them with them two we've nullified their route one approach and dominated the game.

Arsenal, Chelsea and United are the hardest fixtures but we're good enough to win them all. We'll slip up somewhere, but if we beat United that shouldn't matter.

There's an uncanny similarity to 1968 about all this, albeit that a couple of the venues are different.

In 1968 beating the Rags was crucial in us going on to win the title. Same will apply again, I think.
In 1968 we had to beat Newcastle in order to win the title. Same will apply again, I think.
In 1968 the Rags played Sunderland on the final day.

Let's hope that history repeats itself.

Propellerheads ft. Shirley Bassey.

Do I win a prize?

derby day will be the worst day of this season, if the league standings
are still the same come monday 30th april i for one will be shitting myself.

at the moment quite relaxed about all the fuss..........

I thought for seasons that it was about time we scored early on - the first minute or so, and then Aguero pops one in within seconds of the kick-off and I immediately think 'Jeez, we've got 99 more minutes to hang on!

The nerves are gradually coming under control. The semi win last season worked wonders. The full cure will only come with a title win AND Fergie's heartfelt congratulations. I should be OK then!
