Quite like the look of a Samsung netbook but am aware they are not as powerful as laptops - would a netbook be able to stream video to a PS3? the only demanding thing I do using tversity, although have seen samsung have there own streaming software allshare - presume this would stream .avi files?

I too thought they looked good, but have you actually got your hands on one (before you worry about the power and capabilities) and actually tried using the bloody things??

- when I did it dawned on me that the size of the screen was so minuscule that I don't think I'd be able to tolerate using it for any extended length of time... viewing websites I'm normally accustomed to seeing on my 13" notebook would be torturous; sort of like trying to paper your hallway through your letterbox (ok, not a problem if you're a gynecologist, but you know what I mean).. so I'm sworn off them for the moment until I get more desperate to reduce my travelling footprint.

our current laptop is on the dining table gets in the way & want a smallish one to take about - mainly only get used by er indoors for farmtown! just streaming use for me - i'm getting used to tinternet on a smartphone so 10" is ample for me

10.1" this one seems the norm

I'm using the Samsung N130 now, I don't use it for streaming, just for browsing online, my camera, my iPhone etc, does the job on them just fine!!
