This is the central defender we really need. Much better than Luiz and the perfect partner for Vinnie. He won't leave Borussia Dortmund until the end of the season, when they will undoubtedly be crowned Bundesliga champions, thanks in no small part to him. Thereafter he can choose the Champions League with Dortmund or double the salary and play in the Champions League with City. No brainer. We should be trying to tie him to a pre-contract agreement now before Chelsea grab him. It seems they have already had a 17.5million bid rejected.

Dzeko made him look like a fool back in Bundesliga quite a few times. But he is young and can develop, has potential, I'm sure of it.

From what i've seen of him,which is'nt a great deal, he looks a decent player. At this stage of the season though do we want a key defender who will need time to settle?. I'd much prefer to see Cahill or someone with Premiership experience.

It's easier to find videos of him scoring goals, than defending,tackling,jumping etc. :)
He will develop into a great player I'm sure, especially playing next to Vidic in Serbian national team.
