This years effort/shirt is only £35 if you use the code on Carling packs from kitbag.

Using Bony to promote the training kit. Someone at City has a sense of humour!

Must be Wilf himself then. Here he is wearing what i think he wore last season when he played.

and how do you do that ?

you need to buy carling ,obviously ? and if so which carling packs ?
We saw it on a ten pack of lager I believe its on the cider too, either buy a pack or ask someone who has to give you the code on the inside of the plastic wrapper and order it from kit bag for £35 the details are on the outside of the wrapper mate

Or ask someone on here to pm you the code on here so you don't have to buy anything ?

Thanks ,at least I know that now,i normally wait till near the end of a season before I buy the kits cos I just hate being ripped off,i buy my 8 year old the infant kits which is still good value £38 for the full kit which he loves, cheers

Not very keen on away kit.....particularly the yellow badge which looks like it's from the swamp!........however it is not as bad as the training kit which is red and looks just a Scum rag.
If we are going to wear red it should only be on a red and black striped shirt!
Do Nike have any idea about our history and if they don't they should ask!!!!!!!!!!

I shall work 70 hours/week, raise my young lad with the missus, play football as my ravaged knees allow, manage my admittedly unreasonable excitement for the new season, and bemoan the horrid kits we've been given.

I'm a multitasker and rarely sleep. ;-)

Haha touché sir!

To be fair, when I used to play, £120 was about the most you'd be spending on a decent pair of boots (Adidas predators, Nike Mercurys etc). Last time I went to get myself some cheap astro's, I was astonished to see the top range Adidas and Nike boots going for £230+. On top of that, they all feel like someone's stitched a bunch of johnnys together.

Maybe I'm just getting to that age when I start moaning about things inevitably getting dearer but I think it's more just an overall reflection of the industry and, similar to iPhones/ Beats by Dre etc, they know people will cough up extra for the flashiest brands.

On that note, I'm sure kits used to be used for longer than one season but, again, looks like they figured out folk are happy enough to spend an increased amount for a poorer quality product which will be obsolete in a shorter space of time.

I'm a cheapskate so my kids will be playing rounders.
