I don't know how everyone else who was there felt but around me there was a feeling unlike any game we'd played recently, even the Spurs game where we assured ourselves of 4th place and CL or the Bolton game where we secured 3rd place.

The explosion of emotions when Mario scored was comparable to the goals in the semi and final. That's why I decided to write that piece as I think that the result will influence our season. If we hadn't won then it could have impacted the team negatively plus give opposing managers a clue on how to play us. Now we know we can break down teams that park a fleet of buses and opposing managers know they're taking a big risk if they try it in future.
