Just looking for some advice
Ever since leaving college I have been Manager of a busy bar/restaurant, putting in 11am-Midnight shifts Weds-Sunday for the last six years.

Now that me and my gf are looking to rent a place together, and things are getting serious, the antisocial hours of this job are starting to get to me, I want time to spend with her and in our home, but have no idea where to start as i walked straight into the job i am in now and its the only job i have had.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated

Thanks

No other job, will give you free big mac's mate! Stick with it!

Anything, would like a 9-5, but so does everyone else, I am computer literate, a good teamworker, experienced with dealing with customers, very business minded.

I just don't know where to start

this made me LOL

Well the first thing obviously is to get your CV sorted if you haven't already. Start telling people you know (who are seperate from your current workplace obviously) that you're looking for something else. See what's available and being advertised, see what the requirements are and figure out how you're going to meet them.

Apply for anything that grabs you even if you don't meet the exact specifications.

Best just to get stuck in and go for it, you've got a job anyway so no lose situation.

My advice would be that since you have decent experience in the restaurant business you should fix up your CV , go through any contacts you might have and find similar or better job in the restaurant business itself where the hours are more sociable.
