Not that I have any qualifications in graphic art, Boj, but the first one looks like the invitation to a funeral, and the 'coloured' one looks a little 'threadbare' or 'moth-eaten', not the sort of thing we'd expect as the richest, funniest and loveliest team in the land and all the world. Don't take this constructive criticism to heart!

Boj .... experiment with some on the following:

remove the outer glow and shadow on the crest, and set an indented bevel or inner shadow like you have done to the text.

reduce the opacity of the crest and the text slightly, so the detail of the metal background appears through it, giving the effect that's its been burned into the metal?

change the outer glow on the text to an drop shadow, set the distance to zero and the spread about 10 minimum.
