All good calls. Some great pubs and walks to be had in the area. Winchester has some great historical views, Swanage and Pompey are close but both a bit of a bottleneck to get to as traffic is pretty bad there. Watch out for the wild ponies......Sandy balls huh?So much to do in that area.
Ferry to isle of wight
If you like cars , country houses then beaulei is good to while away few hours
About an hour away you can be at lulworth cove
Bournemouth and poole harbour
Corfe castle
There is a small place called hythe and you can get a small boat from there to Southampton

New forest itself is lovely to just chill out in. We stayed at a place called sandy balls

Going for a week next Saturday. Never been before. Staying 3 miles out of Lymington, near the East End Arms. Anyone been and have any suggestions on things to do and see there?
