That is nice, but is virtually last seasons shirt, then people would say they're not forking out just because the sponsor is a different colour.
That's my opinion of it.It's a smart kit, it's just not a Manchester City kit. If you covered up the badge and sponsors and asked neutrals to name which club this kit belonged to, I would be amazed if any of them guessed it was City.
Nike have seemingly developed a uniform template for most of their teams this season. For some teams it works, for others it doesn't. I'm glad it's only for one season and I think Nike deserve all the criticism they get.
Have to say, I'm not massively impressed either. I always buy the women's shirt (the men's drown me) but up to now the neckline has always been the same as the men's shirt. This year we get a deep v-neck - not really what I want from a football shirt but never mind.
Somewhat off topic post, but something I've found interesting; currently working in the Caribbean & have been for a few weeks, the only 2 football shirts that I see out here are.. United & City, and in equal amounts (about 10-10 at the moment!). Not sure how but somehow our marketing seems to be doing fairly well over in the Caribbean.
